Gut Essentials 101:
If you want a healthy and happy gut, bone broth
is an absolute staple in your diet.
I happen to be one of those people whose intestines are in pretty bad shape. And I mean B-A-A--A-A-D. I really lost count of how many times in the course my life I've taken antibiotics --and I mean the strongest that were on the market at the time-- let alone the antibiotics that are in conventional meat and dairy.
Drinking bone broth gives you a natural source of minerals and collagen necessary to help heal the inflamed intestines as well as help repair their damaged walls (you can read more about bone broth HERE).
Because it is so vital to the healing process, establishing broth making into your routine becomes necessary, and in doing so, streamlining the process is key. Diane Sanfilipo of Balanced Bites pretty much has it down to (quick) science. I invite you to check out her way-easy recipe here:
Of special note: adding celery stalks, rough cut carrots, onion, garlic, peppercorns & bay leaves are my favorites; YOU, however, can add anything you want to flavor your stock!
